From Navy SEAL to Game Store Owner
Shane spent 10 years as a Navy SEAL, serving his country and learning the value of teamwork, discipline, and community. When he transitioned to civilian life, he found a new mission: strengthening families through games.
As a father of five, Shane knows firsthand how games bring families together. Whether it's a quick card game or an epic campaign, the time spent around the table creates bonds that last a lifetime.
"I believe building a strong family community is essential to a productive society. My life has shown me that families that play together form stronger bonds and stay together."
Beyond the store, Shane stays active in the community as a track coach at Ben Davis High School, continuing his passion for mentoring young people.
Our Mission
Family Time Games is a game store concept that encourages games for families and groups of friends. Our mission is to encourage spending time with your kids, friends, siblings, and spouse having a fun time.
Through board games, we teach critical thinking, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and sportsmanship—skills that last a lifetime.
